Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Owner Of Mobile Pet Salon In Hillsborough

James Taylor has expressed concern about what happened to his 5-pound dog JUJU last weekend. Taylor said that after Jujur was bitten by a dog, the groomer taped his mouth shut. The result? A bloody, distressed dog.

Taylor explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Jujur was clearly injured and his paws were red. His toenails, cut too closely to the paws likely caused him to bite.

Puppy Lux - a mobile salon for pets - employed the groomer to perform these actions.

James rushed Juju to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. He joined a number of others in accusing Puppy Lux for animal abuse. As a result, the San Mateo's office has initiated an investigation into the company for potential animal cruelty.

James described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were so severe that they caused bleeding."

Jack Smithr posted on Yelp a review about how Puppy Lux returned his animals to him in a bad condition or with injuries. Another customer captured a Snapchat video showing a dog in apparent pain, claiming that a groomer had forcefully inserted a napkin into animal abuse cat the dog's ear.

PuppyLux wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. James revealed, "Jonny informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.

Fox called Puppy Lux and she answered, but then handed the phone over to another woman who told Fox that they were looking into the allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
